Dr. Ernest K.P. Kwarko, an alumnus from the 1999 year group, has donated funds to help build a monument for the School of Medical Sciences (SMS) to mark its 50th anniversary.
During a meeting with the Dean Prof. Akwasi Antwi- Kusi, Dr. Kwarko explained his decision to contribute. "This is our 50th anniversary celebration, and the school decided to erect a monument to mark this milestone. The dean spoke to me, and I said, why not? Let me see if I can assist," he shared.
Dr. Kwarko honored his commitment by presenting the funds, with the intention that they would go toward building the monument, which will include a roll call of past deans.

"I think it's a good cause to support," he added.
