Dr. Worlali Nutakor, a member of the 1991 year group from the School of Medical Sciences (SMS) and a specialist in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine, paid a visit to the Dean of the school, Prof. Akwasi Antwi-Kusi.
The purpose of his visit was to reconnect with the school and get an update on ongoing projects, including the legacy project fundraising and preparations for the 50th anniversary celebration.
During the visit, Dr. Nutakor expressed his gratitude for the education he received at SMS, particularly in clinical methods.
"No SMS-trained person has ever gone abroad and failed exams. It’s all because of what the medical school taught us, especially the clinical methods," he said.
Dr. Worlali Nutakor emphasized the need to give back to the school, which played a significant role in shaping his career.

He pointed out that with the increasing student population, SMS will require more resources and facilities.
"The student population is huge, and they will need more facilities, no amount is too small when it comes to supporting the School of Medical Sciences that has made us who we are," he noted.
As SMS celebrates its 50th anniversary, Dr. Nutakor called on fellow alumni to support and contribute to the legacy project.
"Let’s try and help the School of Medical Sciences, which has made us who we are," he said.
