KNUST MSA President urges medical students to participate in 50th anniversary activities

President of the KNUST Medical Students’ Association (MSA), Mr. Nsafoah Samuel Owusu, has urged all medical students to participate in the upcoming activities marking the 50th anniversary of the School of Medical Sciences (SMS).

Speaking ahead of the event lineup, Mr. Owusu encouraged students to step beyond the classroom and engage in activities that promote creativity, collaboration, and provide an opportunity to showcase their talents.

“We’re celebrating SMS at 50 with a lot of events and activities. I’m encouraging all students to participate and make it a memorable one. Life is not all about books and medicine, come and show your talent,” he said.

A key event on the calendar is the Talent & Variety Night, set for Saturday, June 14, at 5:00 pm at the Great Hall, KNUST.

The evening will feature comedy, fashion, poetry, mentorship, and cultural performances.

Special guests include Bright Kankam Boadu and Oliver Khan (Ship Dealer).

The anniversary celebration also includes a legacy project, and students and alumni are encouraged to donate.
